About

My textiles, animations and paintings have been described in many ways but I like to see them as playful and vibrant.

I have worked on projects internationally and have aquired many awards along the way.

I've created animations for live stage projection at the Manhattan Theatre Club and the Kitchen Theatre in NYC and for The Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, USA. My animated films have been shown on HBO TV, PBS Public Television, Sesame Street International, and film festivals worldwide. I have also animated and directed three national TV commercials for Publicis advertising agency in USA. I've recieved many awards for my short animated films, including: 1st prize Charles Samu Award, an animation award that recognizes quality work made on substantive issues able to communicate across all cultures; Black Maria Film Festival Director’s Choice Award; Ann Arbor Film Festival Audience Prize. I was awarded the Tom Phillips Drawing Prize before leavng for NYC and later designed and illustrated many album covers for BMG and RCA Victor Classics.
